  1. i'm 100% impressed Review by Mike

so i just picked these earplugs up and the first thing i did to test them out was by putting on my pair of headphones into my mixer and blasting the sound.

the sound was so quiet i thought somthing might have been wrong with my headphones or mixer. so by removing the earplugs i shortly discovered the music was ear piercing

the sound quality was crisp (very minor muffling distortion.. but hardly noticeable) and i look forward to using them when ever i play out now

i wish also wish i had these years ago

thanks guys.. this is a fantastic product, and i will do business again (Posted on 1/02/10)

  2. Into live gigs and music but concerned about damaging your ears? This is for you! Review by Blossom

Purchased the Alpine MusicSafe Pro earplugs because I like to go to the occasional live gig or music event but got increasingly concerned about damage to my ears.

Previously I would go out and be put off by the loud bass or too much treble and couldn't really enjoy the performances. Plus it is ALWAYS too loud!

Afterwards I would experience muffled hearing and sometimes ringing which got me to read up on protection for the ears. I came across this set and thought it was brilliant to have the option to change the filters. I normally use the silver inserts, however, recently I tried out the gold inserts and they work fabulously.

I can still hear people talking around me, listen to the music without distortion and best of all, at the end of the night, I can take them out and have perfect hearing, no muffled sounds, no ringing.

I just wish I had found out about them sooner.

And don't worry about being "seen" with them as they hardly stick out. Worth the money for sure! Definitely recommend!

  3. I love my ear buddies Review by Jenn

I love my ear buddies and say that every time I use them. Perfect for
me in the studio, even if I am recording loud guitars all day, I can
save my ears for mixing later on. AND they are only a fraction of the
cost of molded ear plugs, so if I lose one, I am not out hundreds! (Posted on 20/10/09)

  4. Worth the $$$ Review by Fred from Vancouver

I've used custom-molded earplugs in the past, with the variable filters, and they were perfect for me. Unfortunately, someone needed them more than I did and stole them (???) at a show. I was unable to get a replacement pair for some time, and was "making do" with the standard foam earplugs. Ugh.

Then I found the MusicSafe Pro earplugs on Craigslist. The price was reasonable, so I tried them out. All I can say is thank you for making such a great product! The sound quality is on par with my custom-molded plugs, but without the price tag. Comfort was excellent with no discomfort during shows up to 3 hours long. I am hoping to buy an in-ear monitor system within the next few years, but until then, consider me a loyal customer! (Posted on 10/06/09)

  5. Music safe pros for djing and music gigs Review by bex

    Hi
I got some of these MusicSafe pros from my brother as soon as he knew I was going out to heaps of drum and bass gigs with hardly any protection! I tried them out and they gave me pure sound without decreasing the quality that I was hearing.
They were like nothing I have ever seen or tried before!

Now I use them regularly for DJ'ing with and don't ever go out for a night without them. My hearing is really important to me and recommend them to anyone who is mixing/going to music gigs as a matter of protection and common sense, and in order to protect their ears for a long term period.

  6. Morning birds singing Review by Imon

Meanwhile in Australia, I miss my EarBuddies.

I can tell, because i know it's too loud I have some hearing left, quite a lot in fact. This is a miracle, because after a slew of gigs on poor PAs turned up to max on the prayer that it might trick them into sounding good, or that if your too deaf to hear definition, if you can feel the bass, it must be good.

My drummer wears ear plugs. and at practices, he really lets loose, knowing that his ears are protected from the deadly cymbals and it's worst on stage. Whenever he puts his earplugs on, its smashing time. I have tried to play quieter. but sometimes it's not practical.

Anyway, I'd also always thought about buying the $200 fitted earplugs, but i have another problem, I lose things. and losing $200 worth of earplugs is a kick in the balls. somewhere in between balled paper and that comes EarBuddies. better then your average earplugs, with variable attenuation, in a sweet little case, that leave you with hearing sometime before they invent the cyber ear, or you grow a new one on your clone.

    A good solution.

I toured all over east coast Australia, playing club and festival, and every time and place I always knew when they were gone, and regretted it.

I'm learning. While I've still got hearing left, EarBuddies are the way to go.

If you're a musician or DJ or even a punter on the move, EarBuddies are the way to go. With an average rrp of $30, you can roll with one or two pair, and if you lose them, you can get another pair.

Plus they're comfortable enough, that you almost forget you've got them on.

Until the morning comes and you can still hear the birds singing.

    Bless.

  7. excellent product Review by shaun

I am a musician, played in bands for almost 10 years.

i began searching for ear plugs only after I began suffering from Tinnitus. i have tried many, but these pairs are just the best.

    best in terms of
    1) sound quality management
    2) reliability
    3) design
    4) comfort
    5) ease of maintanace (eg cleaning)
    6) variety filter options
    7) reasonable price - we get 1 extra

Service was also excellent. prompt response to email enquiry, quick delivery,

On the other hand, sound you get through the ear plugs cannot match natural sound, but protection and safety covers the cost of it.

I am recommending this to people around me.

Thank you EarBuddies :-) (Posted on 20/11/08)

  8. Excellent Results Review by Gruntmachine

I rate these. I've been getting a touch of the tinnitus or something similar lately and play in a very loud rock band.
I've started using these guys and have become totally dependant on them - you can still hear the music, the tones, even sing - but the noise factor is reduced. I don't know how they work - but they really do.

Well worth a try. (Posted on 24/10/08)

  9. Excellent Review by HEFFS

We are motorcyclists and everything Blackbid said gets Ditto from me.

I ordered the Alpine MusicSafe Pro which had the 3 filters and I am so glad I did as they have all been used for their different qualities.

Great to be at a race track and have a conversation without whipping your earplugs out every 2 seconds. Great to get a good nights sleep at the end of the day when your next door moteliers are partying hard.

I was so impressed with them that I ordered a set for my husband as well. He's very happy that I did.. NO more foam earplugs for us.

Great carry case and fast delivery.
    All I can say is.......
Thanks EarBuddies for a great product, worth every cent!
